The hotel I rate 5 stars and above on every level. We are already planning our return and we cannot wait. Thank you so so much Elisa and all of the team for making us feel so at home. Fireworks even on some nights! A must do is to book dinner to watch the sunset from the rooftop. We enjoyed the spectacular views both day and night from the rooftop pool and restaurant. We arrived in the evening with tickets ready in our room. We made 3 trips one which The Embassy reception staff arranged on our behalf. Just a short stroll down to the Ferry to take short trip over to Sliema where many sailing trips begin. The hotel is in a great location just walk through the entrance door and cafes, bars and restaurants are right there. Elisa joined us and shared her expertise in local places of interest and advised us where to visit in Malta. Staff were very attentive and welcoming each and every day. Our first morning enjoying breakfast on the rooftop looking out to the spectacular views will be an everlasting memory. Beautiful selection of fresh juices also. Very nice coffees/teas/chilled water and even Prosecco. From hot cooked foods such as bacon, omelettes, fresh vegetables, salad selection, cheeses to cereals with toppings, jams and honey and the most wonderful selection of homemade pastries and breads. I have to say the array of breakfast options is wonderful. Rooms were immaculate and the soundproofing was amazing. The bathroom was great with walk in shower and plentiful supply of both hair and body toiletries. We had a balcony overlooking the courtyard so peaceful. Our room was spacious and contemporary with a lovely fridge/cooler for keeping drinks. Elisa arranged snacks to our room for my son so lovely. On arrival early morning we were greeted with a chilled drink either of either prosecco or cucumber infused water a lovely touch.

Each and every staff member on the team are so professional and efficient. Elisa, Hotel Reservations Manager went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome. I travelled with my teenage son and we could not have chosen a more fantastic hotel. Have just returned home from a beautiful stay at The Embassy Hotel, Valletta. I sincerely hope I might be able to return. It was a pleasure to stay in and my only wish was that I hadn't been working all day while in Valletta so I could really relax and enjoy it. These minor points aside, I thought this hotel was simply lovely. The breakfast buffet is €16 and provides both cooked and continental selection. It took a while to generate a coffee and the end result didn't taste very good. The scrambled eggs on offer did not appear to be from fresh, and the coffee machine wasn't great. Some suggestions for potential improvement lie only in the breakfast provision.

There is a gym/fitness centre located in the basement, featuring weights, treadmill and cross-training machines. Level 7 also features the hotel restaurant and bar, serving breakfast, food and drinks throughout the day and evening. The roof breeze is welcome as it can become very hot at street level, due to heat becoming trapped by the buildings and narrow passageways. The pool is located on the roof of the hotel (level 7) with absolutely stupendous views of the city. On checkout, our party had booked and pre-paid a taxi through the hotel reception and the staff member came to check that we had been collected, as the pick-up point is located a few hundred yards from the hotel itself. There was a slight mix-up with our rooms upon arrival and the reception staff member was very apologetic, providing a drinks voucher and calling to check that our rooms were ok. Guests are welcomed with the offer of a glass of Cava or flavoured water. A church bell chimes throughout the night. There is noise from adjacent establishments but it quietened around midnight. The small balcony had two chairs and was a pleasant place to sit out.

I was fortunate enough to have a high-up room on level 6 with a view overlooking the water. Water can be replenished from coolers situated in the corridor. Bathrobes and slippers are provided, along with an amenities station featuring coffeemaker, pods, tea, coffee and mini-fridge with water carafe. Bathrooms are sleek with a great shower and L'Occitane toiletries. Beautifully appointed, rooms are stylish and beds comfortable.
